Monday: Students analyzed Document F: Alexander and Modern-Day Asia and went to the library.
Tuesday: Students worked together in groups to create a team poster connecting evidence from their DBQ packets to character traits of Alexander.

Wednesday: Students continued to work together in groups on their team poster connecting evidence from their DBQ packets to character traits of Alexander. Students are using their DBQ packets to complete this poster. Supplies are available before or after school as well as during flextime for any student who is behind on their analysis. The DBQ packets are due Friday.
Thursday: Students completed their team poster connecting evidence from their DBQ packets to character traits of Alexander. The DBQ packets are due tomorrow.
Friday: Students developed their thesis statement. Time for feedback from myself and peers was provided in class. Then they began creating a" Category Card" for the first body paragraph of their Alexander paper. All DBQ work must be completed here at school. Yeah, no homework in Social Studies!
