Monday, April 15

Plan:
Students will complete the PQR2ST+ notes for 8.4, “The Early Empire” and create a timeline to help us organize all the emperors. The quiz on Wednesday. A study guide including the following essay possibilities is provided in the classroom. The Rise of Rome test on Friday, April 19.

  • How did geography affect where Rome was located?
  • What reforms did Julius Caesar introduce in Rome? What effect did they have?
  • Describe the development of the Council of Plebs.
  • How did Augustus pave the way for 200 years of peace and prosperity?

Homeroom: The Silver Dollar City ticket form (green) and money are due Friday.

Monday:
Students analyzed their returned 8.3 quiz and set new goals for the quiz on Wednesday.  Fifteen class minutes were used to continue our PQR2ST+ notes.  We then used this information to begin team timeline to help us analyze eleven Roman emperors.  "The Early Empire" notes are due tomorrow.
